In October we wear pink!
As a Women Owned company we pride ourselves on supporting and empowering women throughout the year, but in October we are honored with the special opportunity of teaming up with Susan G Komen to raise Breast Cancer awareness by donating $1 of every bra sold to this amazing organization helping achieve the ultimate goal of ending Breast Cancer forever.
“Despite tremendous progress against this disease, more than 40,000 women and men still die of breast cancer every year in the United States. We can do better.”
This year we got the chance to talk with some of our customers who shared their inspirational Breast Cancer survivor stories including our very own Fighter of Month, Aly Taylor. Some of you may recognize her from TLC's show Rattled. Her story, tips, and resources are motivational and helpful, whether you're someone who's fighting, know someone who is, or just want to take action!
Advice from Aly for people with Breast Cancer:
-Stay focused on YOUR journey and not others.
-Surround yourself with people who are believing for complete healing
-Pray, pray, and pray some more.
-Be honest with yourself and when you need to rest
-Talk to someone about how you are feeling.
-Accept help and ask for it
-Finally, when you are cancer-free, have a HUGE celebration. And never stop celebrating the gift of this beautiful life!
"We are excited to have a book of our entire story from cancer, to infertility, to adoption, to a miracle pregnancy in bookstores all across the world. Our book is set to be released in April of 2019. Stay tuned and cannot wait to share!"
