We give, you get. With every Smart & Sexy purchase, a portion of all our sales (year-round) goes to a charity or organization that supports and empowers women. That is a purchase you can be proud of.
Your purchase helps women like these...
The INDEPENDENT WOMEN
We take pride in supporting women all year round, but in March we get special the opportunity to witness our direct impact first hand. March 13ths is officially Smart & Sexy Day and every March (Women’s Month), we team up with The Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits to host Smart & Sexy Day events in cities throughout the country. Smart & Sexy Day events help give women the tools they need to enter, or re-enter, the work force. There’s more to being successful then just building an impressive resume, it’s about building confidence.
The GIRL BOSSES
Count Me In promotes economic independence and the growth of women owned businesses by providing support for women entrepreneurs seeking to grow micro businesses to million dollar enterprises.
This year Ariela Balk, Founder and CEO of AAI international, welcomed world-renown female leaders to connect and celebrate female success stories. The Smart&Sexy team had the privilege of hearing from world-renown female activists and revolutionaries at the Smart&Sexy Pop-Up Shop to discuss successes, failures, the importance of positive role models for young women and everything in-between.
Every year Smart & Sexy is honored with the opportunity of teaming up with Susan G Komen to raising Breast Cancer awareness. This year Komen launched the More Thank Pink Project, a movement with the ultimate goal of cutting current breast cancer deaths in half. In honor of Susan G Komen’s 35th anniversary we decided to do something extra special, because “Despite tremendous progress against this disease, more than 40,000 women and men still die of breast cancer every year in the United States. We can do better.” In October we wear pink. Every item item purchased in October helps contribute to Breast Cancer Research.
V-Wise is a premier training program focused on advancing the lives of female veterans and their families.
This August Smart & Sexy sponsored the Innovation Cup, that was open to 200 Female Veterans, active duty, National guard, and Reservists. The pitch competition gave female vets and spouses the chance to pitch their venture in front of a V-Wise audience to compete for 30K in capital and coaching with top business professionals.
