How to Attract Positive Vibes at Home

When I think of Feng Shui, “wind” (Feng) and “water” (Shui) my mind creates a space that’s clean, clutter free and with positive energy flowing through it.

It’s a way of creating and bringing into your life what you most desire. That dream job, that significant other, more money, travel, fame…it’s just a matter of creating the area with the right colors and objects that you may already have at home.

Everything around us is energy, be it positive or negative. That energy we bring about with our thoughts, words and or actions.

"Feng Shui is creating an intent of what we want and desire to have in our lives at that present time."

You see, having a space with all the “Feng Shui” guidelines is not enough. There needs to also be alignment with what you desire. Therefore, the intent, the action and thoughts must all be in sync.

Tips & Tricks

Some tips would be to remove all clutter, make the space dust free.

Nothing under your bed, like shoes, storage etc.

Another tip is having a mirror near the entrance of your home.

Have a nightlight or one of those LED light candles lit on the area you are focused on enhancing and bringing into your world.

Removing too many books and paperwork you may have left on your nightstand. In your bathroom, always have the toilet seat cover down and door closed.

Create a dream board, fill it with images of your desires, hopes and dreams.

The board should reflect how you see yourself in the upcoming months and years.

Don’t be afraid to dream BIG! That’s what life is about, nurturing your dreams, putting action behind them and watching the results come to life!

Bagua Map

In Feng Shui there is a map called the Bagua map. This map divides the space into different areas of interest. The map is divided into 9 different important areas. Each area has its own color, shape and element. Wealth, Fame, Relationships, Family, Health, Children, Knowledge, Career and helpful people.

Once you have decided what you want to set your mind on having, (I know, we want it ALL…lol) you can begin to work on that space with the Bagua Map on hand. For example, let’s say you want to create this feng shui space in your bedroom. You’re standing in the doorway of your bedroom looking in. The “wealth” area is on the far-left side of the room. The colors to add in the wealth area would be purple and green. And if you have an outlet you can add a nightlight too.

So much to do, right? and now we all have the time, so let’s get started on creating your space, your world on how you have always dreamt it! It’s possible.
